Adding The BlueCheck App Block

If you are using Shopify checkout extensions you can add an app block to prevent users from checking out until verification is completed. Please note that if for any reason BlueCheck stops working, the app block is removed and your orders will be processed.

1.) First navigate to your Shopify checkout settings. In the checkout customization section you should see the checkout that you are using on your store. Click the customize button to make changes.

2.) Select the information page from the dropdown at the top of the checkout customization screen. Then click on add app block in the lower right corner of the screen. You should see BlueCheck's Age Verification UI as an available app block. (If you do not see the BlueCheck app block please make sure you have installed the app.)

3.) Select the BlueCheck app block and then make sure the "Allow app to block checkout" button is selected. You can also choose to add the app block to your Shop Pay checkout by selecting that checkbox. Finally, hit the save button located in the top right corner. You should now see the BlueCheck app block in the left hand sidebar of the checkout customization screen.
