## Non-Shopify App

### Understanding verification credits.

BlueCheck uses a balance based billing system. When an organization signs up, after it uses up its free verification credits, it will be charged its **Recharge Amount. **This amount is added to an organization's **Balance. **As verifications are processed, the fee for the associated verification is subtracted from the organization's balance until it reaches the **Auto-Recharge Balance. **Once the **Balance **reaches the **Cut Off Balance** the payment method on file is billed the **Recharge Amount **and the **Balance** is adjusted.

### Change the Recharge Amount

1. Login to the Merchant Portal and select **Billing** from the left sidebar.
2. Select the **Recharge Amount** you want from the drop down and click the **Save Auto Recharge** button.

Note: If you would like to set a different **Auto Recharge Amount **that is not listed in the dropdown you can contact merchant\@bluecheck.me.

### Add a payment method.

1. Login to the Merchant Portal and select **Billing **from the left sidebar.
2. Click on **Add A Payment Method**, then enter your credit card information and click **Add New Credit Card.**

### Remove a payment method.

1. Login to the Merchant Portal and select **Billing** from the left sidebar. 
2. Click **Manage** for the card you with to delete and then select **Delete This Card**.

## Shopify App

Shopify handles the billing for all app on its app store. As a result your BlueCheck app usage will be billed on your monthly Shopify invoice. The general billing systems works the same: there is a monthly fee and then as you perform verifications your balance declines until you reach your **Auto-Recharge Balance. **Rather than bill you for recharges when they happen, shopify will include them on your monthly invoice so you may have a monthly subscription fee and multiple BlueCheck auto-recharge (usage) fees in a given month.

To change the **Reacharge Amount** in Shopify:

1. Navigate to **Billing **-> **Recharge **in the BlueCheck shopify app.
2. Set your desired Recharge amount.

You will be enable to change your payment method if you are using the Shopify App since all fees associated with using the BlueCheck Shopify app will be charged through Shopify and use your Shopify payment method.
